Safeya Ali Kanoo Hub for Arts
A cultural and artistic space that nurtures creatives and refines their talent
Safeya Ali Kanoo Hub for Arts is a cultural and artistic project under the umbrella of Bahrain Trust Foundation. Established at the end of 2021 and officially inaugurated in 2023 with full funding from Mrs. Safeya Ali Mohammed Kanoo, the hub reflects her artistic vision and aligns with the developmental and social objectives of the Foundation.
The hub supports artists and small business owners by providing a nurturing environment that includes art studios, training halls, a digital design lab, exhibition spaces, an art gallery, a gift shop, and a café — creating an integrated and thriving creative environment.

One of Bahrain's pioneering women artists and philanthropists, and among the first Bahraini female painters — she began her artistic career at the age of seventeen, distinguished by her beautiful style of classical and modern painting.
Mrs. Safeya has a rich history of volunteering and charitable work, contributing to the support and financing of many charitable initiatives across the Kingdom of Bahrain — including the Safeya Ali Kanoo Unit at Muharraq Hospital, the Khalil Bin Ebrahim Kanoo Ward, the Salman Bin Khalil Kanoo Ward for Elderly Care, the Abdulla Khalil Kanoo Pediatric Oncology Unit at Salmaniya Medical Complex, the Safeya Ali Mohamed Kanoo Mosque in Tubli, and the Safeya Ali Kanoo Hub for Arts in Bu Ghazal.
She was awarded the First Class Efficiency Medal in 2001 and 2012, along with numerous honors and certificates in recognition of her efforts supporting and financing charitable initiatives in the youth, women's, and children's sectors.
